I wish I still had a wall-mounted rotary phone. I wouldn’t use it to make phone calls, mind you. I have a perfectly good smartphone, and I don’t even use THAT to make phone calls. I just want one because I think they look cool. And they make me nostalgic for the days before mobile phones, when making a phone call meant being utterly IM-mobile.

As for the title of this strip, everyone knows the word “schadenfreude”, right? If you don’t, that’s unfortunate. And I take pleasure in your misfortune. See what I did there?
