This strip was just pure self-indulgence. I was probably watching a lot of Samurai Jack around this time. I had this image that popped into my head, of a sashimono with three Orneryboy skulls on it. From there, it spiralled into this whole idea of Orneryboy dressed up in samurai armour, commanding an army of skeletal soldiers from a pagoda… Basically a situation that would never actually occur in the comic (or could it?), so I made it into a dream sequence instead.

As for the “hand in warm water” trick, I have no idea if that really makes sleeping people piss themselves or not. Why not try it on a loved one?
