I think this is one of my favourite “dirty” strips. Or at least the one I am most proud of.

I just love the idea that Dirtygirl would write such a raunchy love note — and on her usual cutesy stationery, no less! Of course, Orneryboy doesn’t seem at all concerned about getting a bone and a slab of raw meat in his lunch. But for me, Brian is the best part of this strip — his expression of silent shock in panel four, the fact that he takes the note literally, and that he hurriedly buries his “big, juicy bone”.

Oh man, and I just noticed the squirrel in panel three, eyeing Orneryboy’s lunch. Sometimes I put so many tiny details into these things, even I forget them all!
