I remember I was so pleased with this one. I thought my anagram was so clever! I didn’t even realize at the time that the Captain Underpants book series had been doing that EXACT same gag for YEARS. Oh well. I only know NOW because I have a kid who reads those books (they're hilarious, by the way).

This strip has been modified from its original version. I removed the year “2005” from the school sign. I figure, if I ever start making more comics, I don’t want to be tied to a specific time period. Especially since so much time has passed since the original run of Orneryboy!
