The first time I ever drew Orneryboy in bare feet was for a valentine I made for Jen long before the comic even started. He was naked and dressed up as Cupid. At that point he wasn’t called Orneryboy yet, he was just a caricature of me. I believe this is the first time you see his bare feet in the comic. Anyway, I just copy/pasted the same feet from the valentine. Because I’m lazy like that.

Sometime much later, I realized that I had messed up and given Orneryboy only three digits on his feet, unlike his hands, which have four digits (three fingers plus one thumb). I thought about going back and correcting every appearance of his feet, but in the end I decided FUCK IT, I’ll just keep it that way. It’s unique! And also I’m lazy like that.
