I sketched out the idea for this comic right after strip #36, so it sat around for a few months before I finally ended up using it. Jen was never a fan of this strip. I thought it was hilarious, especially the “Dude! The bat!” line. Around that time we used to commute to work together on the train, and I can remember SO many times I’d turn my notebook to her to show her a “new idea” I was working on, and show her THIS page instead. Sometimes an eye roll is just as good as a laugh.
