I remember when creating this strip, I had written “LiveJournal” at first, but then changed it to the more generic “online journal”. Not sure why the word “blog” never occurred to me, it seems like a much better fit. Maybe I just wasn’t hip to all the latest net lingo?

“Stone Axe Beak” is the name of a creature in the game Questron, which was the very first RPG I ever played, I think when I was about 10 years old. Good memories! I should dig out my Commodore 64 and play that game again.
