In the Orneryboy universe, unless there is a specific aesthetic reason for a full moon, the moon is ALWAYS an impossibly-shaped waxing crescent. The "Tofu-Bird" is obviously a Tofurky, but I was trying to avoid using any real-world brand names. Dirtygirl is still a vegetarian here; later on she goes vegan, but I don't think it's actually mentioned in the comic. I just borrowed those kinds of details from real life without thinking or explaining them. Because, you know, I was just making this shit up as I went along.
